FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Who are we? 

Winner Takes All Sdn Bhd (WTA) is the official partner in Malaysia for the Real Madrid Foundation (RMF) Football Program in Malaysia. For more information, please visit our website. â€‹

 

2. Who can join? 

  • Boys and girls of all abilities aged 5 to 17 years are welcome to join. 

  • In compliance with applicable regulations, the RMF Football Program in Malaysia cannot accept players who are 18 years or older. 

  • If you wish to enroll and will turn 18 during the program term, please contact our management team for further guidance.

4. Who are the coaches? 

Our Head Coaches are from the Real Madrid Foundation who designs and oversees all training sessions.

 

5. What is the official uniform? 

  • All Monthly Pass holders must purchase the official Real Madrid Foundation Football Program Malaysia training kit, including an RMF Adidas jersey, shorts, and socks. 

  • The kit can be purchase and collected before your first training session. Payment must be made in person via debit or credit card or bank transfer (QR pay). 

 

6. What type of footwear is required? 

  • All players are required to have 2 pairs of football shoes for ALL training sessions.

  • Football boots (Artificial Turf): Football Boots for artificial turf. NO metal studs are allowed. Please see what the coaches are wearing for examples.

  • Indoor court shoes / Futsal shoes: During lightning alerts / bad weather, indoor court shoes will be required for training.

 

7. What should I bring to training? 

  • Astroturf football boots (no metal studs) 

  • Futsal shoes (for indoor training) 

  • Shin guards 

  • A personal water bottle 

  • Light snacks 

  • Sunscreen (as needed)

  • Sports Cap (optional)

  • Full training kit (RMF jersey, shorts, socks) 

 

8. When should I arrive for training? 

Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the session begins. Session starts on time, so all kids must be ready with their uniforms and boots on, BEFORE the session starts.

For players training during the weekday sessions, in order not to disrupt the normal activities of the school, you must not arrive earlier than 6pm. Please wait at the designated carpark if you are early.  

 

9. ​What if I cannot attend a session, can I ask for a replacement? 

This may be considered only in the case of injury (with Medical Certificate) or compassionate reasons, subject to management approval.

 

10. How do I sign up for the Football Program? 

All registrations are done via our website http://www.rmfmalaysia.com/our-passes. Please complete the registration form and make the payment online. You will receive a copy of your registration form and a receipt for your payment.

 

11. How do I make an online payment? 

Payments can be made online through our website during registration. We accept credit and debit cards. For payment issues, please contact us at rmfmalaysia@drmgroup.com.my

NOTE: Please key in your child’s name during the payment process in order for us to match payment with the player.

 

12. How are practice groups formed, and can I be with my friends? 

  • Players are grouped by age and skill level. During registration, you will be asked to provide this information, and the coach will assess the player during the initial classes. 

  • You may join the program with friends, but players are grouped by age and skill level. Specific placement requests are discouraged.

  • If any interference by parents disrupts the program's harmony, the child may be asked to leave, and no refund will be provided. 

 

13. What happens in case of bad weather? 

  • Football is an outdoor sport, and sessions may be affected by bad weather. 

  • If the lightning siren is activated, all sessions will stop immediately. Training may resume indoors, and students must change to indoor shoes. 

  • If it rains, training continues outdoors or indoors based on the coach's discretion. 

  • If indoor courts are unavailable: 

    • If less than 35 minutes of the session was completed before being halted, a Rain Check card for a replacement class will be issued, valid for 30 days.

    • If more than 35 minutes were completed, no replacement will be given. 

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Classes will only be cancelled if specifically announced by the coaches or management. If you choose to miss a class due to the weather, when indoor facilities are available, the absence will be counted as a no-show. No replacements will be provided.

 

14. Can parents watch the training? 

Parents are welcome to watch from designated areas. However, excessive interference is not allowed as it disrupts the experience for everyone involved. Feedback is welcome, but all decisions regarding training and program organization are made by the coaches and management. Disruptive behaviour may result in the parent and their child being asked to leave or banned from attending the program with no refunds. 

 

15. What happens if my child gets injured during training? 

  • Injuries may occur as football is a contact sport. Parents should carefully consider enrolling their child if they are concerned about the risks. 

  • If an injury occurs, the player will receive immediate attention, and if necessary, the parent or guardian will be contacted. In case of a severe injury, the player will be taken to a hospital at the coach’s discretion. 

  • The RMF Football Program covers only players under the new Monthly Passes (2025) and legacy passes (Term, Monthly (2024), 10-session pass) players with Public Liability and Personal Accident insurance. We also recommend everyone to take additional personal insurance coverage. 

  • A health statement confirming the child's fitness for sports must be signed by all parents/guardians.

16. What is the cancellation policy? 

  • All passes are personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable.

  • All unused sessions or no-shows will be automatically and strictly forfeited, and will not be refunded, replaced or carried forward.

  • For Monthly Passes, cancellations are allowed on condition:

    • You inform management a minimum of 1 month in advance before deduction of the fees.

    • i.e. If you want to discontinue for the month of May 2025 and deductions are normally made on 25th of April. Please inform management of your intention to discontinue by 1st of April.

    • Once deduction is made, no refunds will be given for that month.

    • For upfront payments, cancellations if accepted, will incur a 1-month cancellation fee.

About Our Training Passes

 

17. What does the Free Trial Pass include? 

  • Available to new participants only.

  • Allows one single trial session in the appropriate age group.

  • Registration and pre-booking are mandatory. Walk-ins are strictly not permitted.

  • The official RMF jersey kit is not available for purchase.

  • Participants are not covered by RMF insurance. Parents/guardians are responsible for any injuries or damages during the session.

 

18. What is a Monthly Pass? 

  • There are two (2) types of Monthly Pass:

    • Once-a-week Training

      • This allows players to train up to one (1) time a week.

      • Players must choose a PTD and commit to only attending on that day.

      • Players must purchase and wear the official jersey kit for training each training session.

      • Payments will be deducted automatically each month via debit/credit card.

    • Twice-a-week Training

      • This allows players to train up to two (2) times a week.

      • Players must choose two PTDs and commit to only attending on those days.

      • Players must purchase and wear the official jersey kit for training each training session.

      • Payments will be deducted automatically each month via debit/credit card.

 

19. What is a Preferred Training Day (PTD)? 

Upon purchasing a Monthly Pass, players must select a day of the week for training throughout the term. For example, if you choose Mondays at 6:30 PM, you will attend Monday training sessions for the duration of your training with us.

 

20. What if I have bought a Term Pass / Monthly Pass / 10-session Pass in 2024 (Legacy Passes) but have yet to complete my Pass?

All Legacy Passes will be honoured until the last session is completed or until the end of June 2025 whichever comes first.

Legacy Passes will not be renewed, so all players on legacy passes will have to sign up for the new passes when their legacy passes have expired or has been completed.
